The Hotels & Hospitality business in the Iberian region and Europe has been very successful over the years. With the ambition to provide a full service to clients, the team also collaborates closely with other teams such as the wider capital markets, debt advisory and real estate investment banking teams within JLL.
We are currently seeking a Vice President for our Iberian Hotels and Hospitality Capital Markets business line. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Madrid with travel within Europe as required.
Responsibilities include
Leading the preparation and execution of sale assignments and pitches in, but not limited to, the Iberian region.
Developing and using financial models that can evaluate the effects of different strategic alternatives under various capital structures
Taking an active role in the team’s Client Relationship Management activities, including building strong and lasting relationships with existing and target clients
Representing JLL at conferences and industry events
Contributing to a culture of strong teamwork and maintaining a great network within JLL
Managing direct reports and mentoring junior team members
Collaborating with the wider capital markets, debt and advisory teams in EMEA and providing support in regional and global mandates in a dynamic environment
Identify market trends and opportunities, proposing new services and adaptations to the existing pipeline
Main day-to-day tasks includeAnalysing market data and monitoring financial markets
Review and deliver high quality investment sales materials (e.g. investment memorandums, marketing reports) and other client deliverables (e.g. pitch presentations)
Managing virtual data rooms
Conducting discussions with internal and external stakeholders
Contributing to JLL’s CRM and research databases
Undertaking site visits with investors
Qualifications required / Your profile
Completed a university degree in Business Administration (or related fields) with a focus on Real Estate, Finance or Hotel Management
At a minimum 4 years of working experience in the hotel real estate (or related) sector
Outstanding academic and professional achievement
Exceptional financial modelling, analytical and research skills
Great attention to detail
Strong team orientation and leadership skills
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a diverse and fast-paced environment
Great interpersonal and communication skills to interact with external and internal stakeholders including senior management
Advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Eagerness to work and the passion and drive to excel in the hotel real estate industry
Ability to take initiative in driving projects and ownership of assigned tasks
Proficiency in using AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT for daily work tasks.
Fluent in English (both written and verbal) and advanced level of Spanish (preferred)
