Junior Translation Project Manager - Barcelona (Code JOT-BCN)

We are looking for a junior Project Manager to join the Translation Department. You will work under the supervision of the department coordinator and will be responsible for managing translation and localization projects.

Main tasks:

• Manage translation projects and a team of linguists.
• Plan the necessary human and technical resources for the projects assigned to you and estimate the volume of work.
• Coordinate and monitor projects, providing the linguists with the means and information necessary for their optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot any problem that might arise during the project and ensure that all tasks in the workflow are carried out within the established deadlines and with the desired quality.
• Maintain continuous contact with clients regarding planning and delivery times.

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Translation.
• Excellent level of English.
• Good communication with clients and suppliers.
• Capacity for analysis, problem solving and results orientation.
• Knowledge of SDL Studio and Smartling, as well as iOS and macOS operating systems, will be an advantage. Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud applications is also a plus.
• We are looking for a dynamic and organized person, who works well in a team and has attention to detail, and who has an interest in management systems and new technologies.

What we offer:

• Permanent position with a 40-hour week contract, Monday to Friday.
