      Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Uber (Mrah Hqab en Najjar) en feb 2015

      Entrevista

      I applied online and was contacted the next day by a recruiter to set up a screening call. Screen went well and during the call I was invited for a second interview with the hiring manager and told I would be sent a performance exam. Exam was sent same day and I was given 48 hours to complete. It wasn't particularly hard but VERY LONG. Way too long to complete if you have FTE. I had to take an afternoon off just to ensure I finished it on time. In between the screening and exam due date I spoke with the hiring manager. I thought the interview went pretty well--I could have sold myself better but at the end of the day I was qualified, eager and knowledgeable in my field. We ended the interview on time and I was told the recruiter would touch base with next steps. One thing I found interesting is that prior to the interview the recruiter told me they were ready to move on the right candidate while the hiring manager told me (at the end of the interview) that they were interviewing a bunch of people. I think it was a way to set me up for a let down on the HM part. I thought I did a great job on the performance exam and was told so by others in my field. Others on glassdoor have spoken about suspicion that Uber uses people for their ideas. I can't say I completely agree or disagree. They structure their performance exams in a way that makes it so they derive the most benefit. Is that wrong? Depends on where you sit. Just know that whatever you give them is theirs. They can execute your whole plan without hiring you. Do they rope people in just for ideas? I seriously doubt it-that aspect is just a windfall for them.
