Solicité el puesto a través de una agencia de empleo. El proceso duró 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en Uber (Londres, Inglaterra) en jul 2016

      Entrevista

Hay Recruitment found me somehow and informed me on the interview the day before. I turned up to a building where the receptionist was straight-faced and unwelcoming. She gave me a pass, where I then followed through to a hallway of confusing lifts. I pressed the button for the floor for Uber, got in the wrong lift, had to go back down, press another button and had to keep an eye on all lift doors to chase the right lift (as not all lifts go to the same floors). Once, you get onto the right floor, I had to be buzzed into the Uber offices. There, I was greeted by two nice receptionists who asked me to sign in via the iPad. I had to type my name, who I came to see, say which recruitment company had I com through, agree to some Terms and Conditions, and take the most unflattering picture. There were about 11 of us. Once the interview had started, we were put into groups to learn about another candidate as we'd be introducing each other. For me, this is where the interview went downhill. I, unfortunately, was put in a group of 3 rather than a pair. But that wasn't my issue... Long story short - the problem was down to a team member making a selfish decision by not actually listening to her other team members and ignorantly left out the third person, making him introduce himself. Next, was the PowerPoint presentation. They tell you to take notes as there will be a quick (and they mean QUICK) exam at the end of it. The presentation is where they talk about what the job entails, their products, and what the sign up process to become a partner entails (that's all I remember off the top of my head). You should make sure you know what an uber PRODUCT actually is. No, it's not just the difference between Uber and UberEat... They mean the different types of rides UberX, UberXL, EXEC, LUX, TAXI, ACCESS (there's another I can't remember) and CARPOOL (which, I don't think is available everywhere yet). You should also know what the difference is between these products, which order they were introduced in (like, what product was available first), what kind of car is for what product and how many people fit for each product. Don't get me wrong, all of this information was in the presentation but they asked a couple questions along the way so it's better if you're well informed prior to it so you can stand out and answer confidently. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE NOTES DURING THE PRESENTATION as it'll help with the 8 question exam at the end. Because our interview leader was running behind time, he asked us if we had any questions about the exam questions, whilst only having just under 10 minutes to complete it. He then drew the group interview to a close by asking us if we had any more questions in general. Then we left.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

(These aren't the exam questions) 1. What do you like about Uber? 2. What are their other products? 3. Who are they founders of the company and what year was it founded? 4. What year was Uber brought to your city? 5. How many PSRs did the company start with?

You will have a couple of rounds where they test your skills and interests. You will have a basic analytical test, a communication skills test ( you will have a better chance if you know the local language). You must be a true hustler. You will be asked to on-board 5 drivers or 50 riders on the platform and they will be tracking this in the backend.
