Really long process that requires a good amount of preperation. There is a long list of criteria that needs to be met and a lot of it is a gamble based on which interviewers you get.

What is one thing you'd do different looking back at any point in your career?
The first interview was, surprisingly, through a WhatsApp call. The interviewer was very friendly and professional. Nothing really surprising besides that. It felt like the usual hiring process across startups.

It was a typical loop process for a large company. It started with a 30 minute presentation of your portfolio, a one-on-one with a manager talking about your background, a app review, and whiteboarding test.

In the app review they asked me what the good and the bad things about the Google Maps application were. I had to walk them through what was nice and what could be improved.
