Entrevista
Initaially contacted via linkedin by a recruiter requesting permission to contact me in relation to a role. Followed by a telephone interview with the same recruiter. Then progressed onto a 2nd telephone interview with Hiring Manager based un US. Next step was to go into the linkedin office for an afternoon of interviews - met with the semior team manager and then 2 managers that the candidates would be working with on a day to day basis. The next portion of the interview were via video conference with staff in Californina - A 45 minute conversation with the hiring manager which included a working example of the role and how I would approach the issues faced within the role and the final part was a conversation with 2 existing business analyst from US team, his again included a presentation and working examples. Unfortunately I made it to the final round but was unsucessful in recieveing an offer.

Business case was not very clear and left room for lots of ambiguity as you would expect. Felt that the analysts in the US were not engaging with the case and did not let me expand on potential areas. Also lack of laptop hindered ecxplanation as required to hold piece of paper up to web cam rather than screen sharing via vc - seemed odd due to the high level of technology in the office.

A very general conversation with an HR representative. After this we scheduled a second phone call which was with a manager on the team. They wanted to go over various projects i led as well as my skills in various technologies

Interview process was long but very light. Had 4 rounds with various levels peers/seniors. Interviews were very much relaxed conversations and not too difficult. Talent acquisition team are exceptional at keeping me informed and updated.
