I had a phone interview for an initial round after applying without a referral. The focus was on SQL and Leadership Principles. Unfortunately, the interviewer seemed disinterested and least bothered,and don't know why got a reject.

Asked SQL questions, answered all queries, and got a rejection. The interviewer was not prepared with the coding link and was least interested in the interview. For a candidate to get a FAANG interview and because of one interviewer, the opportunity goes away.
It was a fairly standard interview with typical principal-level questions. Prepare well by studying their website in advance, as many questions are based on it. If you face any issues, reviewing prior candidate experiences can provide useful insights and guidance.

Interview felt rushed, they didn't answer any of my questions and I didn't feel like they took me seriously as a candidate. Recruiter didn't do a pre screening with me either.
The process starts with an online assessment, followed by a phone screening interview, and then a three-round interview within a day. This is the final round of the interview.
The difficult part of the interview process is the final round. One must be prepared to answer questions about their experience and the job.
