Entrevista
I received an interview request from a recruiter via the company's Chime app for an SDE position. Excited, I joined with my camera on, as is the tradition these days. The recruiter didn't turn his on - ok, no big deal.
We discussed the process in detail for some time and he stated that I'd need to complete two HackerRank questions by a deadline nine days in the future, but not to worry! He would equip me with all the details I needed to be successful, including links to sample HackerRank tests and LeetCode samples. I would get all this information today(!) so that I'd have the weekend to prepare since he knew how busy I must be.
Even more excited than before, I waited after the call....and waited....and waited. No response. I contacted the recruiter via LinkedIn and email multiple times but received no response at all.
Apparently Amazon has adopted the despicable recruiter policy of ghosting as well.
I can only assume this was a bad apple, as every single other interaction I've had with Amazon has been amazing.
