I was referred by a member on the team. The interview process was fairly smooth and I received the schedule for subsequent rounds fairly quickly after submitting my availability, beginning with the first round which was scheduled after I answered the questionnaire sent by the Sourcer.
The first and second rounds were phone screens on Amazon Chime.
The Loop interview consisted of 5 people, including the Hiring Manager and the Bar Raiser. The interviews were pretty straightforward and were conducted without hiccups on Amazon Chime due to COVID.
Once the interview was done, I emailed the recruiter 3 times after 4 business days. No response. I was ghosted by the recruiter who did not bother to answer any of my questions during the preparation for the loop interview and did not reply about the status of my candidacy after the interview.
A week after my interview, I checked the Amazon Job portal where it was mentioned that my profile is no longer under consideration for the role. Pretty pathetic way of telling the candidate after they have spent an entire day for the interview process and preparing for a long time before the actual interview.
For a company following Customer Obsession as their primary Leadership Principle, this was a very poor representation and experience as a customer.

The questions were based on the Leadership Principles and the technical questions were based on the resume, past and current experiences. Stick to the STAR method, have a thorough understanding about the contents of your resume, both technical and non-technical.

Did a test task and was called by HR almost immediately for the next round. But salary range (full packet with stock and benefits) and return to office policy did nit much my expectations
very standard. the interviewers had a set of questions to ask about the LPs so we can anticipate beforehand. But I think I got ghosted in the end. One of the interviewers told me about the 2 & 5 rule but its been more than 2 weeks since my last interview and still no response from anyone so idk what happened.
Lengthy, messy schedule, interviews canceled last minute, interviewer late. Rude, disrespectful and dismissive approach toward candidate. Majority of people were from a different team so had no clue about the specifics of the position when asked in the final Q&A. If they treat you like this before joining, can’t imagine after. Application withdrawn.
