Phone screen with the recruiter followed by a phone screen with the hiring manager. The recruiter was very friendly and nice. The hiring manager was not friendly from the start of the phone screen. She was very cold and came across as though she had no interest in the call. It was very disappointing and didn't seem like a great leader. From that point, the recruiter didn't answer my follow up email and I was sent the standard Amazon decline email. I also have to say, applying to their website is pointless. Unless you have a connection at Amazon or a recruiter responds to your LinkedIn message, it's silence. Why apply?
