First round is phone call with hiring manager, subsequently 4 onsite back to back interviews. They were not able to schedule the fifth onsite interview so it was another phone interview after on-site. From the questions they asked, it is not only they are finding candidates that align to their 14 leadership principles, they want to know what and how you did in your previous job that demonstrates those principles. The process is tough but just be sure and clear about your career story because some questions are repeated (which I think it is done purposely) to check your consistency and authenticity. Don’t be afraid of standing up and start using the whiteboard when necessary. Amazon values “Deep dive” and it means details. If you can demonstrate the depth of your thinking and past achievements in the limited time, you are probably one step close to the door.
