Got in for the interview through firstnaukri. The venue was at Amity University, Noida. We were around 100 candidates. We were split into groups of 15 and went through a JAM session. To clear this round , all you have to do is Open your mouth and really speak. It doesn't really matter what you speak, You have to just go ahead and speak on any topic under the Sun.
Including me, 4 people were selected from our group and almost immediately after 15 mins we had our Watson and Glaser test. It is critical thinking test based on assumptions, inferences, conclusions, and arguments. This test is tricky. It really requires you to THINK. Do not just click away. If you do that, you will most definitely fail. Read the examples and use a little bit of your brain and you will easily clear this round.
Next round is Versant round where they require you to have at least 50 Rs balance in your phone and make a call to a number. Just follow the instructions in that call and pay attention to the what bot is speaking. Do the necessary and this round can also be cleared without hassle.
I cleared all round and was ready for the PI. Around 15 people or so were selected for PI. PI round was absolute #### according to me. Even though I was not able to completely answer the question "Name any 5 online transaction risks", my Interview was going great, because he was happy with my answers. The interview went on for 40 minutes where I amazingly answered all his questions and we became very frank. The interview was very smooth and I almost felt that I am going to get the offer letter but little that I know, They don't want any TECHNICAL person for the job no matter how amazing you are. They are gonna tell you that you are not fit for the job.
Almost half of the interview, the interviewer convinced me to not join Amazon which was a shock for me just because I am a bit more technical. I felt really sad and became very persistent but the interviewer is like "No bro, you will be disheartened if you do this job", I was like wtf.
At the end. I lost and I was not able to defend myself because he kept on telling me how people from the technical background will feel stuck in this job. It was a very sad day and depressing day for me.
Just imagine yourself winning every round and in Personal Interview if the interviewer says that you are not fit for the job just because you are a more technical person is very very disheartening. I accepted the harshness I felt there and left the place head hanging down.
My advice to people who are from the technical background is to not speak of any of your technical achievements for TRMS and Seller Support roles. They will kick you out.
LESSON LEARNED.
PS : I am also a person who stammers a little bit when I speak but I personally asked the interviewer if that is gong to be a problem. He said never, it won't create any problem. There are many people in TRMS who stammers a little and in my entire interview process, by God's grace, I didn't stammer.
