The successful candidate will join a dynamic HVAC engineering team and support the development of marine HVAC design projects. This entry-level role is suitable for junior engineers, candidates with less than three years of 3D modelling experience, draftsmen, and recent graduates from technical schools or vocational training programmes with knowledge or interest in one or more of the following areas:
Marine engineering.
Energy-saving solutions.
Refrigeration cycles.
Thermodynamics.
Detail design and detail engineering support for marine HVAC systems.
Preparation and update of production-oriented drawings, arrangements, and technical documentation.
Support to industrialisation activities, including design coordination, constructability review, and preparation of information for production teams.
Additional knowledge in the following areas will be considered an advantage during the selection process:
HVAC equipment sizing.
Single-line diagrams.
Chilled and hot water diagrams.
Air-conditioning room arrangements.
HVAC trunk studies.
MARINE HVAC DESIGN offers excellent mentorship for entry-level engineers, with opportunities to develop a broad range of technical skills within the candidate’s chosen engineering field.
Bachelor’s degree, technical diploma, vocational qualification, or recent graduation from a technical school in Engineering, Drafting, CAD Design, Naval Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Entry-level candidates with up to three years of experience in 3D modelling, drafting, CAD design, or technical design support will be considered.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and multiple concurrent deadlines.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Self-motivated, with the ability to anticipate, identify, and take action on potential issues and problems.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Able to work independently and formulate sound conclusions consistent with the company’s high standards.
High level of accountability, integrity, and professional ethics.
Knowledge of AutoCAD.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel as required to support clients, suppliers, or field activities.
