Congratulations to our foundry in New Castle, Indiana, for earning the Millionaires Safety Award from the American Foundry Society ! 🏆 Grede New Castle was recognized last week during the annual AFS Metalcasting Congress in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for achieving one million hours worked without a lost-time incident in 2023. New Castle General Manager Mark Brock and COO John G. Economou received the award from the incoming and outgoing AFS Presidents. We're spotlighting Alina Imran, Supply Chain Intern and Co-op, in honor of National Internship Awareness Month. Alina reports directly to our VP of Supply Chain, Dan Dressler. She interned for us last summer and is returning this summer. She even stayed on for a co-op while attending Michigan State University. Grede's internships focus on developing skills that interns can use at school and in a full-time job. Half of our 2023 interns are returning this summer, just like Alina.
