Ventajas

Parecía un gran lugar para crecer y aprender, con un sueldo decente y ciertos beneficios.

Desventajas

Situación económica complicada, despidos express y malos compañeros en general, cada uno a lo suyo, con una falta de educación continua.

Competent and nice colleagues and interesting work to do

Desventajas

Company culture was smashed after change of CEO with neither hard skills nor leadership ones. It is a pity to see someone like Cornelia taking the CEO position to play the let's make people's lives miserable game to avoid spending money on layoffs. Her main trait has been lack of empathy, not a good one if the company wants to motivate employees again. Promotions are mainly for managers after every reorg, favoritism, managers doing politics and getting promoted despite not being able to fool employees. It is also a pity to see good people leaving because they can't tolerate the CEO incompetency and despotism.

Ventajas

Great benefit scheme, hard to match in other companies - ticket restaurant, wellness benefit (Juno), 26 days of PTO, hybrid model with a provided WFH setup. The BCN office manager is amazing, doing her best with the limited resources to keep the teams' spirits up. Operating in the 'doomsday' environment taught me a lot professionally.

Desventajas

The company suffers from poor management and a lack of transparency, particularly regarding bonus schemes and end-of-year reviews (e.g. your score gets 'calibrated' by people who you've never worked with or met). It once prided itself on a strong company culture, but after the COVID-driven sales boom, it overhired without planning for a potential slowdown. As a result, the shift to a non-growth scenario has significantly impacted employee morale. The company is continuously losing both clients and employees, with layoffs happening frequently. Management's attitude suggests that unless you are at the C-level, you are not considered worth retaining. Employees are let go without any effort to restructure or redistribute workloads, leaving remaining team members overburdened without additional compensation. It appears that the company is intentionally creating unpleasant working conditions to encourage voluntary resignations, likely as a cost-saving measure to avoid severance payouts.
