It was a phone interview, primarily for screening purposes. I was surprised they didn't ask a lot of quality questions or provide much details. In the end it was the best fit for me.

Recruiter ghosting right from the time they emailed to set up some time. After I confirmed the time from my end, they never responded. At the time of the first recruiter call, I waited for 10 minutes after which I had to email them again to ask if they can make it. They didn't respond but eventually called me up. They were very blah and did not clearly mention what the role is about and what the hiring manager is looking for. They said they'd respond within a few days and as expected, they never did. I followed up twice and eventually came to know that I wasn't selected for the next round via my Workday account. We're already stressed as interviewees and it's worse when recruiters ghost. Shipt, do better.

The process started with a standard 30-minute screen with the recruiter followed by a 15-minute phone chat with the lead PM. I wasn’t contacted after the 2nd chat so I assume that means I wasn’t what they were looking for. The questions with the lead PM were largely processed focused and without formal product experience, it wasn’t one of my honed skills. The remainder of the interview process consisted of a homework exercise, presentation and interviews with lead PM, engineers and marketers.
