The hiring and interview process was quick and started off with an initial phone conversation with the recruiter and followed by an online technical test with 1 algorithm question. Just a few day later, I was invited to join another coding interview with one of the Solutions Engineer. 2 algorithm problems were given in this round. The recruiter has been very responsive and has given clear guidelines over the process as well as feedback after the interview. I was told the result is positive and they would like to proceed to the onsite interview. This time I was asked to develop an app to demonstrate some of the features of Facebook product that I will be working with. During the onsite interview, I have to present it to both the Solutions Engineer and Solutions Engineer Manager. They have also asked me to make a few changes on the spot. There are some technical questions raised by the team and it ended with another round of interview with the sales manager who is working on the product. I have received positive feedback from the recruiter after the onsite interview and there will be one last coding round with one of the software engineer. My experience with the last round is quite bad where the interviewer was 10 minutes late and he spoke very fast and soft with a thick accent that I find it extremely difficult to understand what he said. There was just one algorithm problem, I manage to solve it within 40 minutes without the optimal solution. The interviewer has also interrupted me a few times when I was talking and the interview ended 10 minutes earlier. A few days later I was told by the recruiter that it is unfortunate that I could do better in the last round and they would not proceed with my application.
