my process was 3 stages: recruiter chat, phone with de, then onsite loop. recruiter was about 20 30 mins, resume + project walkthrough, nothing crazy. phone screen was 60 mins – sql and python split. - sort a column, compare sales % across first vs last day, then code binary search + avg length of lists. onsite was 4 back to back: 2 sql/etl (joins, subqueries, some tricky window stuff), 1 data modeling (got design db for google classroom), and 1 ownership/behavioral which was more about past challenges, leadership style, influencing peers. they do check product sense lightly too, like how you’d use metrics to track feature impact etc. prepwise, strata scratch + leetcode easy/medium was perfect for brush up n a mock on prepfully turned out to be very helpful. i guess interviewers were quite collaborative, not adversarial at all, and even hinted when i was going off track.
