The interview process felt extremely rushed, one-sided, and solely focused on technical evaluation. It consisted of a brief 30-minute HR call followed by a 30-minute technical assessment and discussion with the hiring manager. This was the shortest and least engaging interview experience I have encountered in my career. The hiring manager appeared to be in a hurry, possibly due to internal team challenges or organizational changes, but it left an impression of disinterest. The technical portion was particularly rushed—after a quick 15-20 minute conversation, I was given a timed SQL question to complete in Notepad within 10 minutes. The format did not allow for meaningful problem-solving or discussion, making the process feel more like a speed test than a comprehensive evaluation. Additionally, there was no apparent effort to assess culture fit, collaboration skills, or overall team alignment, which makes me question whether these aspects are considered important in the hiring process. Then it tool another week for the recruiter to get back to me. Haphazard overall.
