Overall very thorough and difficult. But manageable if you prepare. Despite there being 3 interviews after a screening call, the interviews aren't as different as Google like to think. Many questions asked in all 3 rounds are similar. They really would just have 2 interviews. I relieved very positive feedback from the first 2 rounds, so was sent to the final round. It was a disaster. First I will say the interviewer (a Hiring Manager) was quite ignorant and gave off a very "I don't want to be here" attitude. The other two interviewers were professional and represented Google very well. My initial greeting and niceties were met with the interviewer showing no smile or emotion and simply telling me they've a stressful day with lots of meetings. Not what you want to hear as immediately it seems the interviewer is in a bad mood. The questions I was asked I stuck to the STAR method and asked situational questions to evaluate before fully answering. He gave me practically one word answers. Yes or no. This was not encouraging. Not at all what you expect or in line with what Google itself says about its following to the Star method and asking questions before diving in. One question I was asked concerned how to help a new client obtain leads. Seems straightforward. Only this company has no online presence and when I asked if they've utilised emails before I was told no. This left be dumbfounded. Why on earth would a company ask for Google advertising help if they've no website, no social media and no email setup with customers. Instead street based and word of mouth only. I mentioned how I'd explain google services, reccomend they get email marketing set up and social media and then run them through campaign potentials and case studies of similar companies. He was clearly not impressed on my answer to a question that made no sense. When asked if I had questions I asked him 3 and I could tell by the 3rd he just wanted me to go as he was in a rush, even though I was within the 45 minutes time, about 3 minutes left. Terrible 3rd interview. Was told it cost me the job when I was told I had a high chance going into the final/3rd round. I would reccomend this Hiring Manager not do interviews and someone else carry them out. I will apply again on my recruiters advice in a few months through them directly. But my experience with that final round was quite frankly the worst of my life and not at all professional. Especially for a company like Google.

Got reached out to by a recruiter. Passed the screening call last week. rd1 interview is coming up this week (11 days after). Apparently only 2 rds of interviews this process. Though the 2nd interview consists of 2 45min interviews in one.
