First step was a Google Hiring Assessment which is a behavioural round with questions on work place ethics, conflict resolution etc., with answer options ranging from strongly agree to strongly disagree. Once I cleared that, I was scheduled for technical screening, which was a video call on Google Meet with an Engineer from Google, where I had to solve a coding problem and type it out on a shared document.

I was contacted by a recruiter and later scheduled for two interview rounds: a technical screen to assess my skills, followed by a leadership round to evaluate my collaboration and problem-solving approach.

Schnelle Absage über die Statusmeldung im Portal. Ohne Referenz von internen Mitarbeitern ist es schwierig, in die Interviewphase zu gelangen. Anschließend ist man für 90 Tage im Bewerbungsverfahren blockiert, was eine erneute Bewerbung ebenfalls erschwert. Das ist nicht ganz fair, wenn die Gründe für die Absage sehr unterschiedlich sein können, wie etwa wenn zu viele Bewerber bereits im Prozess sind.
