A first phone call followed by a hirevue video recorded interview, with no interlocutor on the other side. The idea of a recorded interview on the one hand sounds nice if you lack of flexibility, as you can decide when to do it. On the other hand, it is pretty horrible as you are basically talking to yourself and it is so unpersonal. Very questionable method as I believe candidates get really stressed with this and don't show their best. Furthermore, I haven't heard back from Expedia. From a company that claims to be customer-oriented it is pretty disappointing. If you can't respect your candidates, hence people who are interested in joining your team and admire you, how can you respect your customers? A simple refusal would have been much more professional.

Three stages with three different people. They move pretty quickly which is nice. Typically all from the same department as well! They ask more thought provoking questions than job specific ones

There were 2 rounds of interviews. The first interview was a video recording where you had to answer a couple of open questions and the second one was an online interview with a person.
