Interview Process: I appeared for the SE3 position and went through three rounds of interviews: Low Level Design (LLD), High Level Design (HLD), and Hiring Manager (HM) round. Experience: The interview process was structured and well-organized. The LLD round focused on implementation details and coding patterns, which was challenging but fair. The HLD round tested system design thinking and scalability concepts. The Hiring Manager round covered behavioral questions and cultural fit.

I was interviewed at Cleartax. The first round went quite well. The interviewer asked me one problem-solving question which I was able to code and explain to him. He was very calm and had been helpful in the whole process. Asked a few questions on my project, databases, kafka. I got positive feedback. The second round was on the same day itself and the interviewer asked me to design an online school portal. He asked me to start with creating the DTOs first and then asked me to design schema and all the relations. He was quite helpful during the interview and was suggesting all things I missed. I cleared this round The third round was the managerial round, I was expecting project-based/behavioral questions but he totally focussed on system design question again. He asked me to design quora, I was able to create the service layers and DTOs but couldn't think of all the scenarios. The next day I got the feedback that I need to work on my HLD/LLD skills more precisely. I hope it helps you!!
