When I arrived for the interview, I was surprised to find that someone else was conducting it instead of the person I had been expecting—the one HR had previously confirmed. This individual didn’t bother to introduce himself, which immediately made the situation feel impersonal and awkward. Throughout the interview, he simply read questions from the screen in a robotic manner, showing little engagement or interaction. Just when I thought we were done after the technical questions, I was caught off guard by a sudden shift to leadership principles questions. At that point, my patience was wearing thin, and the unexpected change completely threw me off. The whole experience left me feeling frustrated and confused. The entire interview process moved at an unexpectedly fast pace. From the moment I received the initial call from the recruiter to the final decision, no more than ten days had passed. There were no prolonged waiting periods between stages, and each step, including scheduling, interviews, and feedback, progressed swiftly. Compared to other hiring processes that can sometimes drag on for weeks or even months, this one felt remarkably efficient. While the speed was impressive, it also left little time for thorough preparation or reflection between rounds.
