I got a call from the HR Team in November after being referred by a friend. Akamai is known to hire the best talent and the interview process is long so they get to know everything about you. The Process is as follow: 1. First, a call from HR team asking basic questions about you and some technical questions. This will be your Soft Skills Screening and they will dig into your resume. Prepare your resume properly. 2. Then will be your technical screening with the hiring managers. They will ask about your resume and focusing on if you fit the profile or not. It's a telephonic round and they might ask you some basic technical questions related to DNS, HTTP etc. 3. Third, will be your telephonic technical round of interview on the topic provided by the HR. Probably HTTP, HTTPS, and DNS. This round can go for 2 hours. They will ask some scenario based questions and some theoretical questions. Be prepared for the counter questions as well. 4. Fourth, will be a presentation round in front of a panel. A topic will be given to you and you should prepare for the worst in this round. Be prepared well for this round. This is the round that will decide if you're in or out. It will be challenging, so prepare hard. 5. Next is the discussion with the Senior manager. 6. And last is the HR round.

Interview was medium level and mostly focused on web technologies like DNS, HTTPS, TLS, Cyber Security, CCNA basics. The managerial round was general with basic questions such as work interests, hobbies some scenario based questions. Overall if you have good grasp on basics on web technologies then it's easy to crack the interview with good communication skills and a strong body language.
