Are you ready to build and evolve a Salesforce platform that powers real-world digital health at scale? Do you want your engineering decisions to directly influence how clinicians, caregivers, and patients experience healthcare services?
Evinova, is creating sector-wide digital health solutions that combine science, human-centered design, and modern engineering. As our Salesforce Engineer, you will be the system owner for one of our most strategic platforms, enabling high-velocity commercial and customer operations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
You will partner closely with a Business Systems Analyst and an external managed service provider so you can focus on engineering excellence, platform integrity, and measurable outcomes.
Accountabilities:- Platform Ownership and Governance: Serve as the subject matter expert and Tier 3 escalation point for the Salesforce environment with engineering ownership and governance of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.- Partner Management: Guide and challenge our managed service provider on Tier 1 and 2 support, set handoff criteria, review escalations, and uphold SLAs and engineering standards.- Backend Engineering (Apex): Design and build Apex classes, triggers, and asynchronous processes that respect governor limits and deliver scalable, testable, maintainable solutions.- Experience and Custom Development: Engineer reusable, high-performance Lightning Web Components for Experience Cloud and core Salesforce experiences.- Service Cloud Architecture: Implement case management, automation, queue routing, omni-channel, and console layouts that scale with our customer support model.- Flow Automation: Apply the right balance of declarative (Flows, validation rules, approvals) and programmatic (Apex) automation for long-term maintainability.- API Integration: Build secure, scalable REST integrations with enterprise platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, SAP Cloud, Marketing Cloud Connect) using Platform Events, Salesforce Connect, and integration middleware.- Security and Governance: Engineer solutions aligned with the Salesforce sharing architecture to protect sensitive data and comply with cybersecurity policies.- Identity and Access Management: Maintain SSO to Microsoft EntraID, ensuring compliant provisioning and role-based access control.- CI/CD and DevOps: Build and improve deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, Salesforce CLI, scratch orgs, and Salesforce DX with embedded code quality, automated testing, and security guardrails.- Business Partnership: Translate functional designs into well-architected solutions; provide technical analysis, effort estimates, and trade-off recommendations.- Platform Health and Releases: Monitor limits and performance, reduce technical debt, address security reviews, and land seasonal releases with minimal disruption.- Roadmap and Innovation: Evaluate new Salesforce capabilities and lead AI-first automation where it delivers clear business value.- Assurance and Documentation: Support external assurance programs (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2) with accurate technical documentation and evidence artifacts.- Technical Leadership and Knowledge Management: Provide technical leadership on initiatives and maintain authoritative documentation of data models, integrations, and runbooks.- Continuous Improvement and Community: Use telemetry and feedback to enhance scalability and user experience; align best practices with peers across the organization.
Essential Skills/Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce platform engineering experience.- Deep hands-on Apex development experience including classes, triggers, asynchronous patterns (Queueable, Batch, Scheduled Apex, Platform Events), and design discipline around Salesforce governor limits.- Hands-on experience designing and engineering Lightning Web Components (LWC), including reusable component patterns and delivery within Salesforce Experience Cloud.- Strong understanding of the Salesforce sharing model and demonstrable experience using public groups, sharing sets, sharing rules, profiles, and permission sets to engineer applications that protect sensitive data.- Hands-on experience implementing secure and scalable REST API integrations between Salesforce and adjacent enterprise platforms, including authentication patterns and error handling.- Demonstrable experience implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) integration between Salesforce and an enterprise identity provider using SAML, OAuth, and / or OpenID Connect – preferably with Microsoft EntraID.- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow automation and the judgement to know when to apply declarative versus programmatic solutions.- Working knowledge of Service Cloud and Case Management architecture, including automation, queue routing, and console configurations.- Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and optimizing Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Salesforce CLI, scratch orgs, and Salesforce DX – with embedded code quality and automated testing.- Demonstrable hands-on engineering experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.- Demonstrable experience operating as an IT escalation point and partnering effectively with outsourced IT support teams.- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.- Demonstrable experience working effectively alongside a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent functional partner who owns business engagement and functional design – with a clear preference for engineering execution over business analysis as the primary contribution.- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver on time-sensitive commitments.- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with the ability to operate effectively across globally distributed teams.- At least one of the following Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, and / or Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant.
Desirable Skills/Experience:- Advanced Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II and / or Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer I.- Prior Salesforce engineering experience at a SaaS / cloud service provider, healthtech, or life sciences organization.- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Einstein AI features, Agentforce, Data Cloud, and / or other emerging Salesforce AI capabilities.- Experience implementing Salesforce platforms within highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, clinical research, pharmaceutical) with familiarity in supporting external audits and assurance programs (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).- Working understanding of adjacent enterprise platforms in the Microsoft and SAP ecosystems, and how they integrate with Salesforce.- Familiarity with cybersecurity expectations for SaaS platforms, including identity federation, secrets management, and data protection controls.- A global perspective on data privacy and data protection issues and trends (experience with EU GDPR and Asia-Pacific data privacy regulations is a strong plus).- Demonstrate initiative, strong customer orientation, and cross-cultural working.
