In October, we announced that Sonnedix acquired over 290MW of renewable energy projects from Arco Energy, one of the largest independent renewable power producers in Chile. As Sonnedix continues to celebrate its latest achievement that begins our journey of hybridization of the business by entering into the wind generation space, it is equally important to acknowledge the arduous work that occurred behind-the-scenes from various team functions across our One Team. In this Q&A, Sergio del Campo Fayet of Operations & Representative Director, and Pablo Barriuso, Power Marketing Manager - both from our office in Chile - share insights into what became one of our largest acquisitions outside of Europe.
We recently had the privilege to host our Board of Directors (BOD) in Madrid for our annual strategy session, where they gathered with our Senior Leadership and Senior Management teams to discuss key business points to focus on as we move into 2023. After the session, our BOD visited our office installations in downtown Madrid to explore our newly renovated floor and have the opportunity to meet Sonnedix Spain team members and reflect on its impressive growth, as it is now Sonnedix's largest operating office worldwide. We are celebrating our first anniversary of Sonnedix Solquest!🎉 One year ago, we launched ‘SolQuest’ – an immersive learning experience that combined both play and learning, transporting learners virtually to Sonnedix Atacama Solar in the desert of Chile, our largest operating plant to date. Since then, we've been able to display the platform in five museums in the U.K. and the U.S., reaching over 230,000 learners in its first year of implementation. As we aim to reach more learners worldwide, Sonnedix ‘Solquest’ is currently available in five languages.

Our team in Chile continues to celebrate our latest milestone: the acquisition of solar and wind assets from Arco Energy, which allowed us to become an international Renewable Power Producer (REP). It was an evening that will remain memorable for all that attended. There was entertainment, food, cocktails, and breathtaking views of Santiago and the Andes mountains. We also celebrated the integration of 28 professionals who now take part in our global One Team, working together to prepare us for the new era of Sonnedix.

Our One Team in Italy was finally able to celebrate the inauguration of our Milan office at the end of summer. During cocktail hour, 80 team members welcomed tenants from the building, as well as Sonnedix partners, advisors, and customers. We also had the presence of some of our Senior Leadership Team members to thank our incredible team in Milan, sharing encouraging words by highlighting our journey in Italy, and how it’s key to Sonnedix’s path in powering a Bright Future.
TBT to a recent sports tournament organized for our One Team in Madrid. Team members gathered at the Sports Club Somontes to have a break from the office by enjoying friendly competition of a paddle tennis tournament, team-building exercises, and ending this great day with laughter and snacks.
Professional development goals in a company not only bring value to the organization but also realize the potential of our employees. One of the growth opportunities we offer is our Sonnedix Management Development Program (MDP), focused on current managers and those about to take on people management responsibilities. This two-day course provides individuals insights into developing a high-performing team, learning about delegation and empowerment, and navigating challenging conversations. Most recently, a cohort of 15 team members from Spain, Italy, Poland, Japan, and Chile gathered in our new Milan office for their training to effectively lead, support, and develop others.
