Harvard Business Review wrote a great article on conversational interviews titled “How to Take the Bias Out of Interviews” that really addresses the reason why our interview questions are so structured and conducted in the manner you referenced. We realize this may not come across as the most personal at times but we strive to remove unconscious biases from the interview process so they are as fair and equitable as possible.
