Zapier has some unique approaches to its hiring process: 1. While every other company puts attainable salary ranges on its job posting, Zapier puts the entire range that only employees after multiple years of exceptional service could receive. Essentially they are really only hiring for the bottom half of the salary range they post. No other company does that. 2. Zapier will ask you to provide references before a hiring decision is made and may not even consider these references before making a hiring decision. This does not make the candidate or their references feel very respected by Zapier.
