The interview with the recruiter was ok and straightforward. Then there was a hiring manager interview with a security lead for the team. I would say that was underwhelming. It was more of a quiz than a discussion on technical topics. At no time during the interview, you would know if your answers had good enough detail for him or not. Zero reflection. There were like 5 min for a threat modeling "challenge" on a sample Kubernetes setup. This is not how it works. In summary, the questions were not really well thought out and the rejection was also your usual templated one.
