I was contacted by a recruiter that saw my profile on LinkedIn. After 2 phone interviews each a week apart, I was invited a week later at Twitter HQ in California for a full day of onsite interviews. There were six 45 minutes interviews, each with one engineer, with whiteboard coding in my prefered language. Got answer by e-mail after 5 days (inlc. weekend).

Signed NDA, and can't post questions here. Data structures, hash tables, OO design, ... Most problems have short statement, but the answer is not trivial. I think important is not to complete the problem, but show how you think and would attack it.
