The recruitment process comprised the following steps: - A first interview with the Talent Acquisition Lead: This involved presenting the company and the position, along with some general questions about experience, knowledge, and skills. - A short interview with the Team Engineering Manager: This included questions to check if skills/experience aligned with the position and provided an overview of the team and the project. - A technical test to be completed in 5 hours: This included two theoretical questions and a technical assignment requiring a proposal for a complete solution for the ML life cycle in the team. - A technical interview with two Data Engineers: This went deep into the case study, challenging technical choices and assessing technical skills, motivation, and cultural fit. - A stakeholder interview with two Product Managers: This assessed cultural fit, team cooperation, product mindset, and alignment with the company's values. - A final interview with the VP of Engineering & Data: This provided an overview of the company structure, and the roadmap for the short and long term, asked some questions about the career plan, and assessed experience, alignment with the role, team, values, and cultural fit. It took a month from the first interview to the offer proposition, which is reasonable, given my limited availability.
