Solicité el puesto a través de la recomendación de un empleado. El proceso duró 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Uber (Chicago, IL) en jun 2016
Entrevista
The process took a month. Included an analytics test, a phone screen with a recruiter, a phone screen with the hiring manager and 5 rounds of video interviews for the final round. The recruiting processes at Uber don't seem very mature/organized relative to what I've seen at other organizations of similar sizes/structures. Also, the company is obviously frugal given that the entire interview process (upto the final round) was done online/via telephone. Some of the interviewers seemed outright bored, which was offensive to the interviewee. The assignment work and interview questions appeared to be oriented towards crowdsourcing competitive intelligence, which seems outright unethical.

Five to seven rounds of interviews, tests and presentations just to get a “no, thank you” at the end without much of a feedback. Acceptable for regular recruitment but not after weeks dedicated to the process.
Pretty easy at early stages - just need to know about supply and demand basics. Analytics test is harder, but manageable if you know Excel well. They are definitely interested in your problem solving abilities and ability to "get things done" with minimal supervision.
