Horrible recruitment process. I’ve received more than 10 automated emails with subject “congratss!! You have been shortlisted” that all look like spam emails. Then additional 10 emails with subject “recalled”. After few days, someone messaged me on WhatsApp saying he’s from Standard and wants to get into a call without stating the purpose of the call. And to add up the message looks like spam with full of grammatically incorrect sentences and sound very unprofessional . We then agreed on the time and never called me despite of me following up. I got pissed and withdrawn my application on their portal. Looks like they outsource their recruitment from overseas to save cost. Nothing wrong with that, but ensure they are at least professional! Or at least can construct a proper sentence! I’m appalled that a company as big as Standard Bank has a very unprofessional recruitment process.
