The recruitment process took in total between 3 and 4 months to complete. Except from the actual engineers who interviewed me (all friendly, and nice), the process was a complete disaster from a recruitment point of view. Communication with the recruiter was mostly on my side, they don't seem to care at all, and when we would set up a session, it would not take longer than 10 minutes. The recruiter took very long to schedule the interviews and took 3 weeks after the final round to set up a call to provide me with a final answer. In the end, I passed all interviews, and the recruiter "was sad to be the bearer of bad news" but turns out Spotify decided to relocate the headcount and pulled the job opening after I had completed the entire hiring process. So they basically wasted 3 months of my time, plus a lot of time from their own employees interviewing me. On top of that, I had other interview processes rolling that I had asked to wait, since Spotify was my first option. When the recruiter informed me that they didn't have an opening anymore, they suggested I applied for another role in a different team - but I would have to go through the interview process again. What a joke.

I applied for a summer internship. The process was composed of two interviews, a technical interview first and then behavioral one. They were very flexible with the interview scheduling. At the end I received an e-mail with the outcome of the selection.
