Being a frequent user of Spotify since the Canadian beta, I was very excited when applying for Spotify and worked really hard to beef up my application. I was contacted by a recruiter for a phone screen. At the specified day and time, the recruiter simply didn't call me. Didn't even respond my email asking if this was a bad time or if we need to reschedule. She messaged me 3 days later saying that she was feeling not so well and if XYZ time works for me for a phone call. I happily agreed but then the same thing happened AGAIN. No show for the phone call and no explanation! I know not to judge a whole company based on how one of their employee represents it, but when you treat candidates like this it already tells you a lot about their culture. My advice to their talent acquisition team: - Keep candidates in the loop and have prompt communication

Spoke with a recruiter, was ghosted after the interview. He asked all the standard questions - why Spotify, expected level, salary expectation, what are the priorities, why left previous company, etc.
