After a couple phone interviews with another the Sales Manager and another AE on the team, I was flown in to do a presentation to a few other members including the Sale Director

How does your previous experience translate into this new role?
I had multiple interview with various team members. The final interview was a presentation. I had to demonstrate product knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to explain to a client how SAS could help them.
The interview was very straight forward. A presentation was required for the interview, and this was a panel interview. From the interview panel there seemed to be a lack of diversity in the unit. I was surprised to learn that they do not check references.
