Applied on LinkedIn or Indeed. (I don’t remember)
Got an email saying please complete this skills assessment test that takes 15 mins before you will even be considered for a phone screen or anything else.
I saw another reviewer say that it was a pretty stupid online test like the kind you would take to see what your supposed “IQ” is. Ex: a list of numbers, which number comes next or 5 pictures of different shapes, which one doesn’t belong.
None of these skills assessment questions would determine if you are qualified for any job, especially not a marketing event manager.
A day later I get another email saying:
Thanks for your interest in Rokt. At this time, we have decided to move forward with other candidates who have skills and experience that are more aligned with the needs of this specific role. That said, please continue to keep in touch - our business is growing, we have new roles opening regularly, please have a look at our career page and apply for roles that are of interest to you. We hope to discuss other opportunities in the future.
Additionally, we regularly post new job openings on Linkedin and would recommend setting up a notification here!
Clearly a form letter with the standard lip service.
Lame.
Will not be applying again. Don’t waste your time.
