Entrevista
I recently had a phone interview for the Data Scientist position based in KL with Roche. Unfortunately, I only made it to the first step, which was a call with the HR representative. Regrettably, the interviewer displayed a condescending attitude towards me throughout the conversation. She made remarks suggesting that I was being "picky" for not accepting offers I received during my one-year job search. Additionally, she frequently interrupted me mid-sentence to make personal comments about my experience. Overall, the experience left a distasteful impression. I hope Roche will strive for better professionalism in their interviews in the future.
P.S. Beware of Norashikin Salleh. If you ever receive an email from her, consider yourself out of luck.
The interview was smooth and professional by both HR and interviewers. 3 rounds of interviews which are HR call, technical with senior data scientist live coding, and hiring manager interview.
The interview went pretty well. The interviewers were friendly and posed insightful questions about the tech expertise they were looking for. The inly thing is that I don't think they incorporated Claude or other AI tools in their code production.
