I would like to share my experience of interview for senior software engineer testing with Roche: which was taken by.. have to take the name and appollogies for the that.
So as soon as interview was started there was no introduction no tell me about yourself nothing: he lacked interview skills; It started with a puzzle of 10 balls out of which 9 has equal weights 1 is lighter mention minimum steps to find lightest ball- I did gave the answer 3 and also explained the steps and interviewer said correct; but my logic had probability.
The second puzzle was if 0 to 100=1rs per unit nd 100 to 200=2 what is price fr 150 units. to which my answer was 300.
Now interviewer did not agreed with the answer he said answer is 150; even if he was checking confidence I was stern on this answer gave eg of electricity bill... but still went into deaf ears..
I was surprised at his super poor communication skills as well, he was not able to communicate properly nor he asked me much questions about testing methodologies.. I didn't wanted to do this but I felt that it was pure time burning interview, I'm bit surprised a huge organisation like roche should not have such hiring panel or atleast keep 2 people at time interview. Candidates sacrifice their time, staffing agencies their talent and time and to turn up with such type experience.. really a super bad experience for well known organisation.
I believe this people are just acquired by viewics itself only not hired by roche as roche acquired viewics. Roche should atleast looks at their hiring panel for interviews.
There were very less testing related questions and interviewer was adamant only on puzzles with super poor communication skills, interviewing skills.
I Request all interviewers to have genuine interview and not just boost of the position . Also a genuine request to roche to please keep learned and experienced people in interview panel 🙏.

Worst interview . Got call for technical recruiter round and she asked the questions she has in the list and i have repeated for her to note down. After that 3 coding questions to be coded in word document within 15 minutes. Meeting was scheduled for 30 minutes but went for way over it.
