After a few excited phone screens and acing the technical aspects of the role, I was told I was not chosen even though it was revealed to me that I had been the only person to interview so far. Their interview process took 4 hours and I was given no real technical assesments, not even a fizzbuzz type coding challenge. The Hiring manager seemed disengaged and overburdened with having to interview someone.
