I applied to this job directly not expecting anything off them. Once i received an email for an interview invitation, i picked a date for an interview and prepared really well for it for over a week! When it was time for the recruiter to call me i received no call and i waited for 10 mins. I emailed her to ask her about what's going on and she replied informing me that the date scheduled never showed up on her calendar , which i just assumed she was telling the truth because why else would she reply to me if she wanted to ghost me. The interview went well and she asked me typical background questions. Mid way in to the interview she started yawning and apologized for it. I understand you're human and you yawn, but try not to make it too obvious in the call because it was disrespectful. At the end she said '' i think you're right for the role and i would like to pass you on to the hiring manager'' She said she would schedule it in once its confirmed by the hiring manager. I sent a thank you note to her and i received no reply. I started to prepare for my interview for a few days until i realized she has not contacted me or set up a date for my interview with the hiring manager. I emailed her again and i got no reply. I knew then that she has ghosted me completely and wont ever schedule the meeting and doesnt have the tiny bit of respect to send a rejection email! If you pride yourself to be a company that enjoys working with different people and inspiring people, please hire recruiters who have a fraction of human respect. Dont hire them because of experience, good interview answers, and 'accomplishments' , because every accomplishment that they may have achieved would never amount to anything if they end up disrespecting interview candidates by ignoring them completely. This does not align with your values as a company and recruiters reflect badly on your company as they represent your company and so far i have gained a horrible view of it and a terrible experience. For those who do interview with them please dont end up preparing so much and end up getting ghosted like i did. Always make sure that you get a date scheduled asap before doing all the work. If you do get ghosted, remember that you are worth much more.
