I was ghosted after i was asked to submit an assessment that lasted for 5 hours after the initial screening round which was a 30 mins video call. the assessment round went well for me and i was expecting some kind of communication but nada

Round 1 — Talent Acquisition (30–45 min): Review of CV and experience. Friendly, organised, and positive tone. Take-home: Classification task provided after the TA screen. Instructions weren't very clear. Round 2 — Technical panel (60 min, US-based ML scientists/engineers): One panelist remained off-camera, didn’t introduce themselves, and spoke only once. The other interviewer was courteous but generally disengaged with my examples. A live LeetCode-style coding exercise was included without prior notice. I hadn’t prepared for that format and underperformed.
