Solicité el puesto a través de la escuela superior o la universidad. El proceso duró 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Oracle (Boston, MA) en may 2016
Entrevista
I was recruited at a job fair on my university campus. I first spoke with a recruiter for about 15 minutes on a very informal basis just so they could gauge what skills I already possessed and if I would be a good fit. I moved on to a second interview with another person who was a hiring manager and not a recruiter. After interviewing with him the recruiter called me to discuss how I thought the interview went and what the manager's thoughts were. I moved onto the next round for another phone interview with the manager whose department I would be working in. The interview went pretty well, but I know I didn't get the job because he asked me what other sales positions I was applying to and I said none. I didn't want to do a sales job (I majored in Environmental Science) but I was struggling to find jobs post graduation. After the interview the recruiter called me and discussed the phone interview and said that because it was late in the hiring season for recent grads (mid-May) and the fact I was only applying to one sales position, the hiring manager did not want to hire me. In retrospect I think it's good I didn't get an offer because I have a few friends that work at Oracle in this position and they don't like it very much. However, I thought that the practice for phone interviews was a great way to get some practice in. The recruiter was super helpful in calling back to give me feedback.

What other sales positions are you applying to? What is your understanding of Oracle's services?
First phone interview with the HR. She agreed I was a good fit for the position and she wanted to move forward with the interview process. I then got ghosted. I think it's always good to follow up with the candidate.
You have an interview with the Hiring Manager and their boss in round 2.
Then you'll do a presentation and talk about OCI as well as your approach to sales, how to breakdown accounts and plan your week, etc.

Two phone interviews with the recruiter. Straightforward process. Went through class of program so it may be different than an experienced hire sales program. Role was for telesales so they were assessing my ability to communicate clearly over the phone.
