The interview process was intense, and I met many thoughtful and kind people along the way. After reaching the final round, I didn’t receive the outcome I hoped for. It was disappointing not to move forward, especially after investing nearly four months in interviews while balancing a full-time job. I had hoped for clearer feedback about why I wasn’t selected and some support in exploring other roles within Netflix. After all that time and effort, I only received one brief follow-up conversation with a recruiter, which left me with more questions than answers. Given my background, I truly felt I could have been a strong cultural fit, and I was hoping the long process might open the door to other opportunities. Feeling let down doesn’t quite capture it.

It was a first round with a senior recruiter, with general questions in English and Spanish about experience, soft and hard skills, motivation for this specific job. Very positive experience during the interview, however, she never got back to me neither has she answered my follow-up email, even though she told me during the interview my profile was perfectly aligned with the position.
