You can sense how established and professional MSFT is by their process and communication style. The recruiter sent me 2 docs including life at MS and how to prepare for your interview. That last doc was overkill as it had advice down to making a 90 day plan and formal wear.
The real phone interview was about an hour and all situational questions. you should pick the relevant stories and tell them well.

if you were in a meeting by yourself with a client that took a month to book and you get an emergency phone call from another client asking for help on the spot, what would you do.
Initial manager interview followed by competency and role play. Job spec changed throughout the process with no consistency in what I has been told previously. Interns managing the day, which was disorganised

Interview process was intense but extremely enjoyable. The Microsoft recruitment team were very friendly and made the process smooth which allowed all candidates to perform at their highest potential. Well done Microsoft.

Scenario based questions - You get a case study and you need to answer how you would navigate challenges within that case study.
Took about 1 month, 2 rounds of interviews. First a phone screening, followed by final rounds with 3-4 interviewers. Interview was mostly behavioral and job fit questions. Using STAR method really helpful
