      Really disappointing and unprofessional interview experience. Having read a few positive employee and customer reviews, I decided to apply for a role at Moo. I wish I had taken on board the previous Account Manager review in December 2015 and not bothered with this company. I was contacted a week or so later after applying online and went through several different interview stages, including, an over the phone chat with a HR Manager and a face to face interview. Email communication was really poor from HR, especially when it came to agreeing a date and time for an interview. There was a couple of last minute interview changes which reflected badly on Moo's HR organisation. The interview itself was pretty easy and the interviewer seemed down to earth. I was given plenty of opportunity to ask questions but when I enquired, how long it would take to hear back from Moo or what were the next stages, the interviewer did know and did not specify. My biggest complaint is HR's communication. There was no clarification of their interview process from the beginning of how many stages there would be. It seemed like they were interviewing as many candidates as possible and making up the interview process as they were going along. A week after my face to face interview, I checked my online application which stated it was still 'In Process'. Then a couple of days later, my application status was changed from 'In Process' to 'Closed'. No phone call or email from Moo. Very unprofessional, especially when a candidate has taken the time and effort to go through several interview stages. I did eventually receive an email from HR after chasing the status of my application. Judging by previous employee reviews, this is isn't a company where you can progress and I would strongly advise others to look and apply elsewhere. This whole process was unnecessarily long and a complete waste of time.

      The interview process was 4 rounds, including the initial screening from the recruiter. Each round was with one of my direct managers, as well as a counterpart. The last round included a task to showcase my skills in the role itself. Although 4 rounds may sound long, I appreciated the teams diligence. It means Moo won't just hire anyone just because, but they ensure the people they bring on will match the current teams vibe, skills and work well together.

      They assigned a task for me to present a sales pitch for a fictional business. It was actually fun to do, as it gave me a peek into what the role looks like.

      Applied on the company site and received an interview request a week later. Scheduled the call with the recruiter for the following week. Recruiter ended up ghosting the scheduled interview and future email follow-ups.

      I appreciated the chance to interview with Moo. I was personally reached out to by a recruiter who said I’d be a great fit, so I was excited to move forward and committed fully to the process. I have over 10 years of customer service experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, which I believed aligned well with the role and company. After two interviews, I was surprised to hear the decision was based on seeking more call center experience — something that wasn’t mentioned earlier. It was also frustrating that I was told I’d hear back by the end of the week, but only got a response after multiple follow-ups. Clearer communication and expectation-setting would really improve the candidate experience.
