The interview process was great as most interviews were more like conversations than classic interrogations. The team genuinely wanted to know more about me.

My interview process started out with a 45 minute interview with the recruiter working on this position. I thought the conversation was very enjoyable and natural feeling. I was able to accurately speak to my applicable experience without it feeling like a rehearsed script or something like that. The recruiter gave me some helpful feedback in response and let me know they plan to recommend for me to be pushed through to the next round.
The second round was with the direct supervisor and hiring manager for the position. While I thought I also did a great job on this interview, it wasn't necessarily as engaging and natural with conversation. I didn't seem to get a lot of "open conversation" responses from the interviewer. Not that they necessarily owe me anything like that, but just an observation that it seemed more like a "let's get this over with" type of interview.
Turns out the hiring manager spoke highly of me and decided to move me on to the final round of interviews with three individuals, all at differing levels of management throughout the organization. I thought that with all three individuals, the questions being asked back and forth were very thoughtful and insightful. I thought the conversations seemed genuine and everyone seemed to be very interested in me as a candidate running for this opportunity. I thought that I couldn't do a better job interviewing with KAYAK and I still wouldn't change anything about my approach, answers, questions, etc.
Where this interview process really takes a turn for me is the response time and timelines that I was given post-final round interview. Without going into granular detail, I was given a couple of different decision timelines from the recruiting team without any update or communication when the timeline would be pushed back.
I will say that I realize that a company that I'm interviewing with does NOT owe me a specific itinerary of their hiring process by default. I'm not expecting the red carpet to be rolled out or anything for me, I just think that if there is a decision timeline given to a final round candidate, the recruiting team should either stick to said timeline, or send out an update if said timeline has been pushed back by multiple days. As mentioned, the people and conversations/interviews that I had were very enjoyable and I'm sure that KAYAK is a great place to work. Just wished for a more responsive recruiting team towards the end of the process.
