Don’t waste your time... i was made an offer then had it “pulled back” because their hiring committee decided they no longer wanted to pay within the range both sides agreed to during the first call.
Too many people contact you, the recruiters (yes I had 3 of them) all have different roles, one actually “guaranteed 100% chance the hiring committee would approve my hiring” only to eat those words the next day.
Bottom line - they make offers before their hiring committee approves the offer, exposing candidates to my experience. A company should never tell a candidate an offer is being extended until it is 100% approved internally (of course background / reference checks are contingent)... this had nothing to do with my candidacy, just a group of strangers who meet every Wednesday who tore my offer up.
Oh and I was never even given a real reason. One recruiter claimed the salary, another said the job was open too long, bla bla bla
