I got this interview by replying to a recruiter who asked for resumes at our university (via email). From my experience, this seems to be a very easy way to obtain interviews. I went to the 1:1 meeting with little or no preparation and told myself that I would just be my self. I guess I expected mostly questions about my background etc. When I was then asked all the "typical" interview question (i.e. "what are your strengths and weaknesses",...), I was a little surprised and didn't have great answers. Hence, I recommend every one to actually expect these kinds of questions and prepare for them. They may seem silly, but if you are prepared, you can give much better answers.
